The history of gaming for dudes is long and varied. You have your sims, you have your first person shooters, your puzzlers and of course your fighting games. Yes, there’s nothing like some button mashing and kicking ass. The stakes were upped with the release of the Mortal Kombat series. Not only could you kick some asses, you could rip off heads, pull out spines and even cut some poor arcade patron in half with your fancy bladed sombrero.
Then in the year of our gaming lord 2002, we were all made just a little bit happier with the release of a classic dude fighting game: Bikini Karate Babes.
Now, your ass kicking could be done while guiding the fists of fury of a hot babe in a bikini. Have you ever seen Subzero rip off an opponent’s bikini top? We don’t think we ever saw Johnny Cage shoot frickin’ laser beams out of his nipples….have you?
The creators of the game claim they were satirizing the trend of fighting games to have the female fighters wear less and less. We say, they were just misunderstood geniuses!
Behold the official trailer…intrigued now?
Here’s a little compilation of classic game fight moments
Playthrough video you say? Behold the brave warrior: Venus
In 2011, they even released a sequel!
Behold: Bikini Karate Babes 2: Warriors Of Elysia
While the gameplay wasn’t much, who was playing this game for the gameplay?
We’ll wind up this tribute to dude gaming with a shot of Venus toasting her latest victim
